Mama D's Mercantile - Boothbay Harbor

We visited Mama D's on Saturday morning. The waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed since there were guests arriving from both the back and front entrances. After about 10 minutes, we were able to sit on the back deck. The restaurant was quite busy, and our server appeared a little disorganized. It took a while for us to receive our coffee, and there was a mix-up where the table next to us was served our food and started eating it. However, once we finally got our orders, the food was delicious—I really enjoyed my waffle! Overall, it wasn't a perfect experience, but I would likely come back.

Absolutely the best breakfast in town! I adore the atmosphere, the customer service is outstanding, and the food is consistently excellent! Walking into Mama D’s feels so welcoming, and I've never been disappointed. The only downside is that during the busy season, getting a table can be nearly impossible! But it's definitely worth the wait!

You know, it's good that you go to breakfast every day. The staff is really friendly and friendly, the food is delicious, and there are gluten-free options.

We ate here 3 or 4 times on our Honeymoon in Boothbay. Absolutely wonderful service and tasty specials! We ordered from the specials menu every day, I believe, and were never disappointed. It's a little crowded, but that's usually a tell-tale sign that you've found a local favorite. Here's our favorite way to breakfast here: sit at the bar, pour yourself a joe, order from the specials board, walk around a look at some of the local publications and handmade pieces from local artists, and definitely order some of the baked goods to go!
