It was just okay. all in all, I am not sure that we would eat here again on the basis of the price and experience. I'm pretty sure the hanger steak i was served was the same steak that was served next to us. our server has tried to remove the escape, but on mysterious wise the owner or management was no longer there. amelia was a tasty bite and made our experience worth.
We went on Taco Tuesday. The tacos were the worst we had ever had! No flavor or spicing apparent. In desperation we asked for hot sauce. They only had Tabasco, which does not lend itself to Mexican food. Hopefully the owners will wise up and offer Frank's Hot Sauce, or Cholula plus some picked jalapeno rings, at least, and fresh cilantro to sprinkle over the top. We know that traditionally Maine doesn't use a lot of hot sauce and chilies, but, hey, international foods are here to stay!
It’s the BEST around! Great food, friendly waitstaff, awesome Chef!
I've visited this restaurant 3 separate occasions. Twice were winter stops and I tended to cozy up in the bar area for beverages and dinner. My favorite apps are the oysters and calamari. The fish chips are excellent, and I hear the reuben is amazing, too. In the summer, be careful to avoid the west deck if dining prior to sunset. The sun can beam down on you pretty intently. Great restaurant. Will return.
Beware of Jesse Mackie! Was told he was the one that stole a wife’s purse out the back area! He is also known for selling drugs while at work. He thinks he can do what he wants to people!
