The Wild Rose (wetherspoon)

Compared to the Navvy (what I call the Navigator), if you didn't want to watch the news, tough, the staff couldn't help you. Food was good but I wish I could say the same for the staff, who didn't believe in looking after lost property. I dropped an old pair of tights on the floor there the other week (and these were a good pair of tights), which the staff stupidly threw away. Unlike the Navvy, this was cramped. The khazi was miles away from where I used to sit and, as for the coffee machine, don't even get me STARTED. The only thing good about it is that it was next door to the New Strand.

Can't believe the Wild Rose is closing Great boozer in Bootle, very friendly staff, smashing food. Hopefully will return in the new development

Unfortunately on the 18th December 2022 The Wild Rose will close down. The staff are a lovely bunch be really sad to see it go its a great little community pub in the heart of Bootle.

Good food, excellent beer shame its closing next week.

Really friendly spoons,met up with some friends before heading to a Turkish restaurant for Xmas night out. Doom Bar on.. 99p a pint special,it was spot on too
