Ben's Kebab House - Booval

Hadn't had a kebab in ages and thought we'd treat ourselves to one. The small kebab is so far from the truth. OMG so generous with the fillings. Enjoyed it so much and will not leave it so long between kebabs again.

I used to live in Ipswich and eat at Bens at least twice a week. He was a gentleman to talk with and knows how to make a superior kebab. I live in Victoria now and I can tell you the standard down here is low. They are served all over the state on fluffy white bread and are not reheated once made and are stingy on the chicken or meat in there serves. Take note people of Ipswich and surrounds, enjoy Bens Kebabs while you can. Its a case of you don't know what you got until its gone..

Now I have read that this food business gets a bad rap (pardon the pun : with some references to its cleanliness. Yes this business is on a main street through the CBD of Ipswich. But I can honestly say that this business is clean and tidy. I am fussy and not big on kebabs though I will eat Bens kebabs! They are nice people as I am always greeted with a smile and lovely manners. I will keep supporting their business and hope people do give them a go too.
