Café Os Gémeos - Borba

In a quiet Alentejo village we have “Gémeos”, where we find the genuine food of the region. In a simple and very friendly environment, we can try the real Alentejo cuisine, excellent preparation and good quality ingredients. If you can't stand pretend restaurants anymore, it's the perfect place. And yes the twins are very friendly and good professionals!

We felt as if we were visiting old friends this is how friendly the twins are. They just make you feel at home. The food is really tasty and comes in big quantities. We would definitely come back when i have the chance.

My parents used to live in the area, and when I visited them, we came here several times (back in 2012). It is a real Alentejano restaurant, with big portions and perfect grilled pork and chicken. There are many desserts to choose from, tasty cheeses and wines, and we always left the place satisfied. Hope to go back!
