Bistro Regent - Bordeaux

Lovely place, food was really good. Beware the pigoens flying around! The staff are brilliant especially Derlann.

Had an evening meal here with a party of six persons. A few of us had the grilled salmon and it was excellent, served with chips and green salad. The choice of wine was limited but of excellent quality.Staff very friendly.

Dropped in for dinner purely because it was close to our apartment. The waitress was friendly but determined to give me an English menu, although I assured her that I could understand the French version....anyway, the idea is that you choose one main course from a selection of 5, which is then served with salad (just lettuce!! and lots of chips. We ordered grilled beef and grilled salmon both were tasty (although the beef was much better BUT they were each served in sauce and on cold plates. Each table is provided with a plate warmer, but there's only room for one plate on the warmer, so someone's dinner arrives on a cold plate and just gets colder. Nice environment inside and pleasant staff this place could be so, so much better with a few tweaks and very little effort.

Al verlo, creímos que era un restaurante típico del lugar, y al final resultó ser una franquicia, ya que posteriormente vimos dos mas en Burdeos. Así todo, los platos que ofrecen, son de cocina francesa, que era lo que buscábamos. La carta no es muy extensa, cosa que ayudó a elegir. La comida estaba muy buena, y la localización del restaurante es prácticamente en el centro, y si hace bueno, la terraza de que dispone es una opción excelente. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Nous avons été bien déçus par la qualité de la viande assez nerveuse et la sauce n'est pas aussi bonne qu'à l'entrecote. La qualité est en baisse depuis leur ouverture...
