Chez Fred - Bordeaux

We arrived at a fairly busy time, no seats available but they directed us to nearby public bench and served us there until table available. Very accommodating. Had a small platter, pate option, what came was just some bread stick and a jar of terrine DIY! Maybe that's normal for Bordeaux...

Nice place! Not many beer options on at the time but they made good cocktails.

The terrace is pleasant but we had the worst cider ever.

Great location not far from Port Calihau or Grosse Cloche. Grab a cherry berry or cappuccino. Sit outside and people watch on the square or take a seat inside with smatterings of art work on the walls to look at or play a retro video game at the table. It’s cosy, staff are friendly and it’s a typical French cafe if you’re looking for that.
