Arnager Roegeri - Bornholm

On a rare rainy day on bornholm we found a small place located at the beginning of a run way. A small smoke fish house. I got the Arnager plate with small taste bite. It was good not great, they could have left out the smoked sushi part, and made something else maybe more locally. That would have made this place more special.

I've been here many times over the years and it still hasn't changed. The food is good and exactly what to expect from classic DK køkken. Considering the place is hidden off the main Arnagervej down a dirt track (Arnagervej 4), it's still very popular. Of course the Danes are great cooks, and enjoy their fish food, but they do offer other European dishes (minus English, thankfully). It's very child and family friendly and suitable for whole families and more. The children love the garden area rain or shine. It's not a great place to cycle to-and-from if you live near the summer houses or in the centre of Roenne. The car or bus is a must.

Very good value. Not too expensive fish but nice quality. Perfect place if you want to go out but not spend too much money. Kind simple service.

A very positive experience. Playground on property, little three wheelers for the kids, and very solid food. We had fisk cakes. fried plaice, and the deluxe platter. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and also bought fish from the small shop to take home. Can highly recommend this little place.

This Little smokehouse offers the best tasting smoked fish on the island. You can get fresh smoked herring, mackerel and other kinds of fish all very tasty. The place is rather small but make no mistake about it because this is the heaven for all people how loves the special taste and aroma from the see. Go for the salt smoked herring and the fried onions served with the special mustard and you most likely want to get more. On top of that, sip on a cold beer and you would be happy. Take a stroll down to the harbor and enjoy the scenery or bring your food and eat it by the seashore.
