Char Dining - Boroondara

We dined at char as a group of 4 friends. The wait staff were very helpful and the general ambience was warm and cosy. Our meals were delicious with my fish of the day just excellent. The desserts looked good too. Prices for the quality of food were reasonable. A lovely place to dine!

We booked in for a celebration. It was our wedding anniversary. We were given a warm welcome by the 'front of house' Fiona. We were offered wine by the glass and the selection - whilst limited- was good. We took our own bottle of Rhone and because it was our anniversary Fiona waved the corkage - Thanks. The food is excellent! we ordered the Charcuterie plate that proved to be outstanding. the menu has the usual suspects and a few surprises. We ordered things we would not normally cook, braised pork neck and sticky ribs, wonderful. The chocolate tart was brilliant.

We had a very enjoyable meal with another couple. The service was great and the meal tasted great. We felt it was over priced though for what you got. I had a steak which came in two thick slices probably smaller than I had imagined.

And amazing restaurant with an impeccable cuisine . Service by Andrew and Rebeca were of the highest quality. Congratulations guys. A perfect winning formula. H

Gorgeous premises and lovely decor. They catered for Kids and the food was Fantastic. Loved the Fig Salad so much that I forgot to Photograph it. The Gnocchi was so unique and Amazing. Dessert was too simple for my liking though, we had basically Berries and Cream with Little Meringues. Would loved another Sparkling Wine on the Menu or offer Veuve by the Glass. Innocent Bystander Moscato would be great!
