District Pho - Boroondara

We are regular and why would they not be when eating great, the service is fast and julie is amazing.

Today for lunch, the quality was as always top-notch. The food was fresh, the restaurant was very clean, and the prices were affordable. Julie, I wonder how they manage to keep up such high standards!

I ordered the crispy tofu rolls at this restaurant. The ingredients seemed fresh, but all I could really taste was the overpowering carrot and white cabbage filling. It was decent, but lacked the full flavor of a traditional roll. I had asked for chili for some heat, but there was barely any present, just a small piece. The sauce was disappointingly subtle and the pâté was barely detectable. The crispy tofu was overshadowed by the abundance of carrot and cabbage. If someone prefers a less aromatic version of the traditional rolls, then this might suit their taste.

The service is fantastic, the waitress even remembers what they have eaten last time and their names. the food is simple and tasty

Who would believe that you can find fantastic simple Vietnamese food at a great price in Deepdene, well District Pho is the price, nothing ritzy except the food. Well worth a visit.
