Macedon Square Chicken & Salad Bar

The restaurant has an excellent location, delicious food, affordable prices, and friendly staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. I have visited multiple times and would definitely return. They have a wide selection of salads and sandwiches, along with a delicious charcoal chicken that is perfect for a family dinner to-go.

Have been there for the last few months now and especially like the souvlaki. The price is great too, considering the fact that they use the Bannockburn free range chicken which is processed without any chemicals. I rarely come out of the shop without the creamy scalloped potato and one of my kids favourite is the fried rice. According to my friends who have been there before, the place is much cleaner than with the previous owner. The staff is very friendly too and always greet you with a smile.

On another Sunday night, when too busy or lazy to shop, I went to Macedon for some takeaway roast chicken, creamy scalloped potatoes, and salad, all for $26. Problem solved. What sets this place apart is the incredibly friendly and engaging staff, especially the Asian couple who are there most of the times I visit. While they always have plenty of cooked Bannockburn chickens, the potatoes and salads tend to run out by 7pm. PS: This chicken shop is consistently spotless.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is top-notch. The prices are reasonable and the quality is always consistent, especially with the gym packs. For only $13, you get a generous portion of food. I would definitely recommend this place.

By far the best cooked chicken in Melbourne!! And excellent chips!
