However, the 'meat ' didn 't actually taste like meat, in my opinion. The chicken was a bit too spongy compared to what I 'm normally used to, although I didn 't mind because it made the meat fairly easy to chew. The pig trotters also didn 't look much like meat, although the person that ate them said the 'meat ' was still tasty. It was quite filling despite being in standard size containers and looking almost small, and the level of fullness came almost all at once instead of a build up.
Tasty food served with fried rice (with or without egg). Recommend.
The staff was really friendly.. the food was good but we enjoyed the experience. #veg for life.
Came here with my hubby on my birthday, I have to say it’s over my expectation. I didn’t know that veggies could be so great. The signature tofu is a must try. Peking duck is yummy. We will try more dishes next time.
We got takeaway from here and were very excited to find another all-vegetarian menu. I had the peppered beef which was delicious with just the right amount of spice. The fake beef is seitan-based so it has a lovely flavour and texture. My partner had the honey prawns which were large and very realistic in taste and texture.
