Chilacates Amory St - Boston

We visit Chilicates often for their delicious veggie burrito! Nearly everything on the menu can be customized to be vegan by simply removing the cheese and adding guacamole instead. The portion sizes are generous as well, making it a great dining choice.

The Asada/Steak was very flavorful and tender. The Al Pastor topped with pineapple was a delicious and authentic Mexican street food option.

We have eaten food from here four times in the last 2weeks. Each time the food was inhaled before I could get pics ???? sorry! We have tried their chips and guacamole, grilled chicken quesadilla, regular taco plate, birria taco plate, rice w/black beans,tostada, elotes, maduros and flan. Everything has been delicious. The menu was a little confusing at first. Because it?s mostlyabout how to build a burrito (which we haven?t tried yet. I have been disappointed with my last few times eating at chipotle. Ijust doesn?t taste like it used to. So I?m very glad we gave CHILACATES a try. 10 out of ten?would recommend thislocation. Note: We walked in and out of their Centre St. location due to a foul smell kinda like a bad cleaning product.

My go to place for Mexican food. Everywhere else I am taken for the best Mexican food in town can not compete with Chilacates. Having had close to everything on the menu I strongly recommend checking it out and grabbing a classic soda in a glass bottlefor your meal. Their prices reflect the quality of the food and even when they are super busy you can order and walk out in 10minutes with your meal. A must try

I ordered the chicken quesadilla (5 out of 5), fish tacos (3 out of 5), and shrimp tacos (4 out of 5). The restaurant is located in a remote area. It mainly offers takeout, but they have a few bar-style benches facing the street. Prices are on the higher side, and they charge extra for everything, even for extra salsa with your tortilla chips.
