Joe's American And Grill - Boston

We were a group of 20 people and despite our large size, the food was served quickly and was delicious. The service was excellent with no complaints. This was our second time having our holiday gathering at this restaurant and it most likely won't be our last. We had a great time!

We tried the fish and chips at this restaurant yesterday and found them to be delicious. However, we were disappointed with the service. We requested ketchup and a salad that were never brought to our table. We also observed other diners receiving bread baskets that we did not receive. Despite the service shortcomings, we would consider giving this place another chance due to the tasty food, hoping for a better experience next time.

We went here after a tour in Boston. We started with French onion soup that was great. Came in a little cast iron pot, good croutons. We got the Nashville wings. The herb ranch was great. The wings were a little greasy but the pickles paired well. After the wings, we ordered the nachos. Great chip to topping ratio. By the time our main dish came, we weren’t hungry. We ordered the chicken pot by off the specials list for our main. Overall delicious but not a traditional pot pie. The crust was a nice egg washed puff pastry. The filling was more like a soup. Nice amount of shredded chicken and the veggies had a nice crunch. We didn’t take this to go as it probably would have dripped out of the take away container. Wouldn’t recommend the old fashioned- very sweet with chipped ice. Our waiter was little spacey- had to ask for spoons a few times.
