The only flavor I could taste was the bitter almond syrup, making it hard to finish. When the waitress noticed I hadn’t finished my dessert, I explained why. She handled it well; they didn't charge me for the dessert, which showed their good customer service. I’m unsure if I’ll return, but overall, I’d rate my experience a 7 out of 10.
This is by far my favorite upscale restaurant in Boston. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy. The dishes were simply outstanding, both in taste and texture. I highly recommend trying the scallops, duck, and tuna; however, you can't go wrong with any of the options on the menu. Just a heads up—the crepe dessert we had at the end was quite disappointing, so it’s best to steer clear of that.
The food was absolutely delightful. The duck was excellent, though the picture may not do it justice since I'm not a fan of raw meat. The fish was incredibly buttery and tender. The Napoleon dessert was AMAZING—light and fresh, it melted in your mouth, and I appreciated that it wasn’t overly sweet like many other restaurants make it. I tried the La Vie en Rose cocktail, which was refreshing and flavorful, and the raspberry white chocolate martini was delicious as well, tasting like white chocolate with just a hint of alcohol. I highly recommend both! The crème brûlée was also very tasty. Having dined at several French restaurants, I can confidently say this one is now among my favorites.
Perfect Restaurant! We were very satisfied with the food and service. I definitely recommend to try the “Hazelnut Napoleon”. “Napoleon” is one of my favourite desserts and it is worth to order it here because these notes of hazelnut are very-very delicious.
I recommend you reserve a seat beforehand. I really liked the food. It's a bit pricy but definetely worth it! I loved the buttered noodles which comes with chicken entree choice. I loved the chocolate soufle and french onion soup. The server was friendly and quick. Note that if you want your main course come after the first course, tell them because it come basically at the same time for us which I didn't like. Also, giant profiterole has a vanilla ice cream inside rather than a cream. I would come here again. I think it's a great date restaurant.
