Food was very good flavorful and good portions. Salmon, bowls, flatbread. Drinks were well made. Server was very competent and efficient, although lacked the confidence and presence that marks a truly great server at a top flight restaurant. Overall, very positive experience ahead of the Nutcracker ballet next door. Highly recommend. Only annoyance was 3% “kitchen appreciation fee” added to bill. I tip 20%. I did 20% on top of the 3% since it’s the holiday season. But i hope restaurants don’t become like hotels with resort and similar annoyance fees. If you need to charge $2 more for a salmon entree, do that, but don’t make up fees that just appear on my check at end of dinner.
