Feedback gevenWent in today with my husband for a coffee we both use sticks to get about, anyway I went to the counter order 2 drinks and 2 cakes and was left to struggle with a heavy tray by the very rude staff in the store.... Will never be going back, very poor customer service. No consideration for disabled customers.... too easy for all the staff to hide behind the counter and do nothing.... I recommend everyone goes to skegness or horncastle they are much nicer there
We sat outside at tables that were well spaced. The service inside was okay, although it did take a little bit of time. The food was typical of Costa's menu.
The opening hours on google state they are open 7am-6pm. I have been twice now once at 7.30am and 4.30pm and they’ve been closed!
The management at this restaurant was rude and immediately started pressuring us to buy a drink as soon as we walked in. One of the employees dropped a cup on the floor while making my drink, and then attempted to use it anyway until I caught her watching me and she threw it away and used a new cup. Her manager seemed to question why she didn't use the dropped cup, to which she responded with a joke about thinking about what customers would like. It is unacceptable to use something that has been on the floor, and overall, my experience was poor. It's not just about the quality of the drink, but also the professionalism of the staff, including the rude and unapproachable manager. I felt extremely uncomfortable and will not be returning, especially considering the risk of being served a drink in a dirty cup. I would advise others to watch their drinks being made or just avoid this place altogether.
I went to the Boston location today and ordered a tall Gingerbread Latte. The Barista asked me in a rude tone, "Which one is the tall one?" I specified that I wanted the £3.30 one. I considered leaving because of the attitude I received. In a previous visit, I asked for a pumpkin spice Latte and the same Barista told me that was Starbucks, not Costa. I felt embarrassed because I couldn't see the menu very well. I only bought my coffee because I have a Blue Light card discount. I won't be returning to this branch due to the lack of customer service skills. They need to work on improving their service.
