We were thrilled to see that Merriman's has started offering take-out again. We ordered two meals that were ready on time, the portion sizes were just right, the food was perfectly cooked and delicious, all at a reasonable price. The menu is extensive and sure to be a hit with those who are particular about their dining choices. We highly recommend it.

As always a superb meal at this venue such a hidden gem food drink service all top class this visit was our daughters 15th birthday and she chose the venue. If you like great food , good prices you’ll struggle to find better

Wanted somewhere close to town, with parking and a good reputation for my Mums wake and Merriman's completely ticked the box. Natalie was flexible with our buffet choices and allowed us to set up the room as we wished to personalise the occasion. Food was drinks were plentiful and service efficient. We couldn't have asked for more and wouldn't hesitate to return but under better circumstances.

I made a reservation for 4 at Merrimans on Saturday evening through their website and received a quick response confirming a table for us at 7.15. When we arrived on time, we were greeted with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Despite a slight delay in service due to a late arrival of a large party earlier, we were not bothered at all. We all ordered from a diverse menu and our meals arrived all at once, beautifully presented and hot. My thick salmon fillet with new potatoes, spinach, green beans, and tomatoes was exceptional. The other members of our group also agreed that their meals were delicious. The service was friendly yet not intrusive. We enjoyed desserts and coffee, both of which were top-notch. Special thanks to the chef, who apparently was working alone in the kitchen. Excellent job to all the staff at Merrimans, we will definitely be returning!
