The food is varied and tasteful, the atmosphere is chic and demanding, the prices are reasonable and fair, and the staff is incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. We went at 4:30 a.m. on a Friday afternoon and there were only a few other males, so the seating was no problem at all. It was my first time with Mediterranean food and looking at the menu I really had no idea what was next to the hummus. Our waitress was enormously helpful and offered some wonderful suggestions as explained by things. We have the tour of the Middle East floor, a gyro dish and a kebab with lamb and vegetables. Absolutely every bite was delicious and bursting with taste. And the help was plentiful. We took so much home! I recommend this little jewel to satisfy any new Mediterranean food or just looking for a desire for it!
The food here is amazing. Stuffed grape leaves and gyro, the best! The servers are really helpful and it was crowded when we are here! And the owners are on site.hard workers and the most friendly!
Authentic Middle Eastern food from a beloved local family. Great service, good food.
To eat one of my favorite places! Food and service are excellent!
First trip to the Grapevine at New Hartford Shopping Center. Overall, I was positively impressed with the meal served to me and my companions. Service was great. My companions made several special requests, changes to standard menu items. Our server graciously accomodated and provided the alteration to the order. The menu was surprisingly diverse for a cozy establishment. Plenty of Eastern Mediterranean choices, but also American fare to please the pallet. Our orders came promptly, beautifully prepared and presented. I liked and enjoyed the atmosphere. The dining area is not crowded with tightly packed tables and lighting was appropriate for comfortable dining. I found myself enjoying the traditional Labonese music playing in the background. So why did I withhold the 5th star? A few minor points are worth some attention, in my opinion. The salt and pepper shakers had a grimy feel, as did the menus. This seemed uncharacteristic as all else was spotless. My only other criticism is that there was a significant delivery of supplies, cases of vegetables, beverages, etc., paraded by our table while eating. Perhaps this was a case of unfortunate timing. Bottom line, I am glad to have discovered the Grapevine and I plan on a return trip!
