Feedback gevenWe had decided to do a small family summer diner I this place which serve simple see side dishes. We had book in advance a table and where surprised that announced speciality needed 45 to 1 hour of cooking so we opted to what they called “quick dishes “ mainly mussel. After a while (1 hour 20 min) with no contact from the waitress I asked for her. She explained that she had no understanding on the delay and couldn’t do anything about it so I asked to speak to the owner. After 5 min, the owner came and clearly shouted on me for asking to speak to her... I was so surprised !! She had no compassion for our situation. We are Served finally. It took 1:45 min from ordering.. In conclusion, the food is ok but don’t go there when they is a lot of client as this restaurant is not able to cope with pressure and don’t have the skill the personal to cope with high traffic! I will not go back to this restaurant and don’t advise
Nice location, good food, however far too long waiting before being served, 1,5 hour, this poiled the part, obviously kitchen can not cope with the number of tables , to be avoided in peak season
Really lovely place to have dinner. Atmosphere is not specifically cosy, but functional. The locals eat here as well, which is a good sign. We had mussels stoved in pine tree angles, and the tast was wonderful. And than the desserts... A really lovely end of our dinner! I would surely recommend this place to eat, especially when you want to try mussels a bit differently than normal.
We chanced upon this little restaurant on the way back from the Island and had a drink outside whilst watching other diners enjoying their suppers. We decided to return for a meal the following evening and were lucky that a duo were playing live music on the night. It 's a regular thing at the weekend during the summer I was told. We were the only Brits. in the place but there were lots of French families enjoying plats of Fruits de Mer etc (always a good sign) and the staff , who spoke little English , were patient with our 'pigeon French ' and very pleasant. I ordered the speciality which is mussels cooked in hay and, I believe, pine needles on the outdoor fire. These were fragrant and delicious and made a change from the usual method. My friend had a steak which was also very good. I will definitely return to face the challenge of the assiette de fruit de mer when I feel I can do it justice!-it looked huge.......
Nous y avons diné 2 fois et le service est mal organisé et long, dommage car on mange bien mais...More
