Mariscos El Soto Loco - Boulder City

This is my second time visiting this restaurant, and was very impressed by the food the first time.... However, this second time around I was very disappointed in the food. The meat was old and burned/dried up, and very salty. I didn't mind the high price the first time because we really enjoyed the fresh food, but definitely a waist of time and money 3 months later and a new location.

To be fair we love this place when it was located at 2 wheels. We probably ate there a few times a month. However since they moved the food quality has just gone down hill. Our server was wonderful but we could hear the kitchen staff yelling at her while we waited for our food. The shrimp was not cleaned and the Carne asada was over cooked and very chewy to the point it was inedible. They use the have the best micheladas but now they just taste like watered down beer. We are really heart broken over this and wish they would just go back to the way it use to be.

The service is slow. They should take an order at the door and have the people seated. At least until they hire more people. We sat for 35 minutes and no one took our order, offered water or chips . We left. I'm giving them a 5 star because I hope they see this. They need to solve this problem.

Worst food ever food had no flavor!!!! We ordered the nachos and the torre campeona you would of thought you were eating can food the only thing that seemed real was the shrimp everything else was all canned. The drinks were horrible I ordered a strawberry margarita tasted like pure juice and the michelada tasted more like tomato juice. I do not recommend this place.

This place is a gem with great staff. The choice tacos where so delicious, they almost had a little chorizo flavor to it and I'm not mad about it. The corn tortillas were spot on, toppings were typical but also very fresh. Now, that red salsa the have there is something else. They definitely need to jar and sell it and please send me some when they do!!! Cadillac margarita because you have to and I told you so. You're welcome
