Feedback gevenWe write this frequently. The food is great. The cocktails well made, and the service always great. They also automatically respect our table seating wish and accommodate us in that way, which I don't think anyone else does.
The food wasn't great and was expensive. I haven't been to japango in several years and was disappointed. Everything we ordered was lackluster and the sushi tasted a little fishy.
Service was horrible, food was not served in a right order manner, salad was given last! Appetizers were thrown in the beginning without any sense of organization. Many side things were asked for but not given.
Had a reservation for my daughter and O and we were sat right away. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable on the drinks and menu. The food was super fresh and the sushi was great quality! Trendy hip atmosphere but not stuffy. I come here everytime I'm in Boulder to see my student atleast once. Highly recommend!
Life happens even to the best of us, and how one reacts to a “situation” is actually more telling about the true character of a place than simple smooth sailing. We had a little incident where the kitchen left in a little jalapeño in my daughter’s roll it resulted in my kid crying in pain from it. Our waitress noticed immediately and moved swiftly to help alleviate the burn and calm her down. The manager also came out to apologize and made sure we were well taken care of. In the end our kid was back to her happy self in no time, giggling and laughing, ending dinner on a good note. Japango has been our go to sushi joint in Boulder for a few years now. In all this time, after countless visits, this is the first “issue” we’ve ever had. While this might have technically broken their otherwise perfect record for us, how well the staff and team all addressed the issue actually built our confidence in the team. I mention this as a positive example of a place well run. We’ll continue to be back for sure. Thanks for a great dinner!
