For our meal, we got the Sunday-Thursday special which was braised beef noodles. The homemade were scrumptious the beef was very tender.
Was looking for some good beef braised noodle soup, and while it’s not the best I’ve ever had, it was still great. The broth was flavorful and fatty. The noodles were fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the potstickers and Bao bun a lot too. Pretty relaxed street-food atmosphere, where you order at the counter, and has outdoor seating.
The closest to authentic you can get in Colorado! Delicious and reminds me of home. The steamed baos were really yummy, the beef noodle soup, and the za jiang mian are my recommendations!
First time in Boulder, there only for the afternoon, looked up affordable eats in the area and Zoe Ma Ma was listed as non-americanized Chinese street food stop. By far one of the best places I've been. -In downtown Boulder area, it's a tiny little shop, sit at one of two small tables inside or they have outdoor seating. For something quick, and delicious at a great price definitely recommend. We ordered Chicken Curry, Duck Bao and potstickers. All of it was so good-ESPECIALLY the curry! I love curry, this was amazing! The only downfall and even then not a deal breaker was I felt there could have been a little more curry sauce drizzled on the dish-future visits I may ask for an extra bit of curry on my rice bed. Also this was the first experience I had in trying duck, I was actually quite impressed! I honestly thought I wouldn't like it, but once I tried it, honestly it was pretty good. It's rich, and like butter. Duck is the dark meat of chicken if the dark meat of chicken actually tasted good. Please also don't forget to bus your own dishes! They have a little table and tray/bin set up inside the door by the drink cooler! Live in the area and need something new to try or a revisit, maybe your visiting for the day or a weekend. I would recommend putting this stop on the list of heavy consideration especially if you like street style foods and especially Chinese street food.
We love to go by Zoe Ma Ma for the steamy buns whenever we’re wandering around Pearl Street. The noodles are also delicious. Ordering is easy at the window they’ve set up, making it even easier to grab some quick and delicious snacks for your stroll along Pearl.
