L’aromate - Boulieu-lès-Annonay

We were driving in the area and didnt know where to have lunch and literally stumbled upon this place-so very glad we did. We had a warm welcome from our waiter. Our meal was so lovely, starters of smoked salmon and salad and a pate in pastry. They were so filling and all fresh ingredients. Our main courses of duck and salmon fillet were so good, accompanied by a kind of polenta and also mixed vegetables. Puddings were delicious too. We were not rushed in any way and the white wine was very palatable. The restaurant played music which we enjoyed as you dont often hear it in French restaurants. Would we return? certainly-shame we dont live nearer.

It does not matter they do not speak a word of English, now a day worldwide every one speaks English which is surely good but then, you forget where you are ! If you find yourself around here visit this tiny restourant and you will experience the real French atmosphere and eat well, simple, right to the point. Lovely young girls serving, young chef in the super small kitchen ... everyone deeply French and all with a great smile ! Go and have a meal, you choose from the blackboard, few tables better to reserve ! Bon appetit !!!

A very nice discovery! From crossing the area, we went there last Saturday night, and we spent a very pleasant time there! Very nice waitress, understanding chef (I asked him to decorate my shrimp, we loved the dishes, it was excellent!! Keep going

The dishes are well executed and typically ardéchois. The waitress is pleasant and very effective. Think about booking the place is small.

We were looking for a nice and good little restaurant, we found our happiness!! A very good kitchen, a great waitress with a lot of humor. I strongly recommend this address.
