We had a very enjoyable lunch here today. Reassuringly short menu means everything is fresh. Owner was friendly but also very professional. He translated the menu for us and recommended a very reasonable and delicious wine (a perfectly balanced Sauvignon/Chardonnay) to accompany the meal. My husband and I shared a plate of fantastic razor clams. I followed with the freshest of salmon tartare while he had a dramatically presented whole fish which was similar to red mullet. We both loved the food and would come back in a heartbeat. If you like fish, cooked simply and deliciously, then please try Iode. Oh—his father was a gelato maker, don’t miss the homemade ice creams. We had the coconut—it was divine.
My husband and I ate at Iode on Friday evening . It was a fantastic find and the best meal we had during our Paris weekend. A Fish restaurant with real quality and great friendly service. The menu was in French but the owner was more than happy to explain it to us in English. We had mains of octopus and pollock both of which were done to perfection and the desserts a real treat.... Cant recommend this highly enough.
I had dinner here with 2 colleagues while traveling on business. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriot about 10 minute walk. This restaurant is a find! Nestled in a neighborhood with only about 5 7 tables I immediately fell in love with this place. Owner Florio greeted us with a big smile and helped us understand the menu. While you can get a meal of small plates or tapas, we chose the cod fish entrée with a salad starter. A delicious Roussette de Savoie was the perfect wine pairing. We absolutely loved our dining experience here and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Our next trip is May and we will certainly be coming back to Iode!
This small but perfectly formed Seafood Restaurant in Boulogne-Billancourt just fitted the bill for a delicious, relaxed, informal lunch for my brother, sister-in-law and me after a visit to the Albert Kahn Museum in the morning and a Roland Garros night session the day before
