Smokin Bones Bbq - Bountiful

This is a little hole in the wall, often the best places for BBQ. I quite enjoyed the turkey and the ribs and brisket were delicious, and properly smoked. The serving sizes plentiful. We loved the beans and the corn bread tasty but cold. I would have been more satisfied if it was warm. The 4/5 was because of the service. The biggest turn off, and reason I would not go out of my way to go back, was that the staff was not very warm or friendly.

Honestly, I love smokin bones. I do. eating is great when it's great?. but this is not always the case. I have been here quite regularly for over 5 years and in all this time, I think every time I go there is a completely new crew of what seems 13-14 years old children (where do they come, there new children work every other week?) who never knows what they are? this is all. orderings are almost constantly mixed, confused, objects missed, or in the case of this photo? could I get an actual pizza with my crust? if they want amazing bbq they really come here. but manage their expectations whether their order will be correct or complete.

We tried takeout and it was definitely a hit!! Their meat was tender and delicious. It was seriously the best barbecue I've ever had (and best cooked turkey of my life . Try the spicy barbecue sauce for that bold flavor (I'm not even a fan of spicy food and that one was my favorite . The fries were also a huge hit they had a crispiness/crunchiness on the outside that is so rare to find. The seasoning they use on the fries is DELICIOUS, if they sold it in a shaker I'd be buyin' it (hint hint? had to leave a good review for this local shop as a must support!

I was pleasantly surprised going to the bbq place. I?m pretty critical of bbq but this place did a pretty great job. The turkey was very flavorful. The pulled pork was great. The mac and cheese was amazing! The only reason I didn?t give them 5 stars was that the ribs were a bit on the dry side and didn?t have much flavor and the brisket was a bit chewy and bland. Fix those things and you may be in the running with R&R. Thanks for a great experience overall!
