Bourne Fish N Chips

Was on my way from Sportsbikeshop back to Rutland. Bought their fish/chips/peas deal. Great food. Friendly staff. Will be dropping in again for sure

Best fish and chips in Bourne lovely batter on the fish, and the chips were properly cooked, unlike other places I've been to locally. They cook their chips properly as well, so you don't get the pale, half raw garbage I've had from other places. I have to add, now that I've tried it, that the chicken donner meat is possibly the best I've had! Had to update this as we've used this chippy since we moved to Bourne 7 years ago after trying a couple of others locally, and the review saying that they overcook their chips is absolute nonsense. Unless you're a lover of the previously mentioned half raw garbage we've had in other chippies locally....

Best chippy in town. Family owned and run. Good, honest and well cooked food, enormous portion sizes and always served quickly and with a smile

Very good service, chips were excellent! Fish was huge for a medium, hate to think what size a large piece would be, but the batter was thick and crispy on outside but soggy inside so didn't eat the batter but the fish inside was well cooked and tender, so only taken off 1 for the soggy batter.
