Food and service absolutely fabulous, will go again and again to try all menu
We visited today to try out their Sunday roasts. We arrived early and were pleasantly welcomed by the staff, the decor was nice and airy. We were seated in the restaurant, which also was well decorated, we sat down and browsed the menu, even though we already knew what we wanted, it was great to see the smaller play offering for anyone, I think they were well priced deserts too, I didn't get to try one though. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food, the parsnips treated fried, mash was strangely crusty. I loved the stodgy Yorkshire pudding, but it was burnt, the item I feel that could be improved is the gravy, it was thin and needed that little bit more flavour. The new owners have an amazing Foundation and are a great addition to the village, WiFi is available however it is provided by BT so unless you have an account with them it's £5 for 1 hour, which when there is no mobile network (Vodafone and Smarty) is disappointing
Amazing. Lovely open fires. Great service and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend
Not for a few years, but in any case again. beautiful friendly village pub in one for a drink and eat with friends, but not served on this day, but went out of the way and put some pizza and chips for us. very appreciated and thank you for being back
