Dymk - Bournemouth

Sadly being the only gay venue they totally abuse what they charge both on a 90’s Door charge (does any other bar charge that?…No! Drinks are expensive…shot of Absolute Vodka nearly £6 told by the 18 year old bar man it’s Premium LOL It’s £16 a BOTTLE in most supermarkets. Hoping for a new gay bar soon that treats it customers better and isn’t just about ripping people off

A great night! Good music, nice vibe and lovely staff. Shame about some straight guys who were quite aggressive at the bar but other than that I'm really excited to make another visit!

The venue is a LOT smaller than other clubs I visited when I went to uni but its still very nice inside. It was pretty quiet the night I went so the venue was really clean with no glasses laying around. It was karaoke night when I went which was a great laugh to watch and the host was hilarious. It was a very quiet Thursday night (being my first time to the venue I'm not sure if this was normal) but there was a great atmosphere with everyone chatting with each other and dancing even if they didn't know them. I didn't have very much interaction with the staff but they were friendly and service on the bar was quick. The prices I personally thought were a little bit high with a double Vodka Lemonade costing me £7 but not being a frequent drinker and hardly going on nights out I'm not sure if this is the norm. Despite being quiet it was a great night and I enjoyed myself would definitely come back but I want to see what its like when its busy

Literally one of the worst LGBTQ+ bars in England! Apart from the bartenders being nice, the security were very rude and lesbianphobic! Also was groped many times however when I told security they were like “ it happens”. Also music was awful just remixes until 2am.

Brilliant place. Great atmosphere. If you want to have a good dance, this is the place to be. Clean, tidy well kept looked after. Two dance floors. Seating area by the bar. Cocktails available, local beers soft drinks. All reasonably priced. Outside garden area. Staff are polite happy to assist. Recommended
