Harvester - Bournemouth

Loved the waffle and chicken with the dirty fried combo as side . Being on the seaside front it a beautiful view.

Having been before and know this place gets busy we booked for Sunday tea time. 4.45pm we were rushing as we had a gig to get to by 6ish at the BIC. Service was quick, food was cooked to order but still quick and great food, due to Covid the staff now put your salad into dishes for you. (great way to keep people safe). We left just after 6 full up and knew the walk to venue would do us good.

Food was lovely but not a place to go for a special occasion. Vegetarian options were okay. Service was good but kept asking if I was okay when eating and some people like that. I just wanted to enjoy my food. Bartender very attentive cleaning up water from the floor. Beautiful views of the sea whilst your eating.

Good for a large family get together. Relatively simple food (see pics) but with a few fun variations possible. Would love real blue cheese options on burgers and flatbreads more actual cheese than cheese sauce in rest of menu. Will definitely come back.

The food was wonderful. Hot and fresh. The only reason they lost some stars is because the person serving us didn't have a clue what he was doing. He wasn't making notes of the orders, he didnt have a pad round his neck. He was trying memorising orders and going to the till. You didn't get all what you ordered. I'm not sure if he was new but that's not very good training in my opinion. They deducted service charge for this in there defence. We waited 45 mins for any food to come out. It was very busy but the fact this guy was struggling with the job didn't help. We enjoyed the food in the end. We tried to go a few days previously but was so busy we got turnt away. This time we booked. If you really want to eat here it's best to book. Lovely location on the beach.
