Hermitage - Bournemouth

What a beautiful hotel in a stunning location! The staff is excellent—everyone is so friendly and attentive, which really enhances the overall experience. Our room was a bit on the small side, but it had everything we needed, and the view was amazing. The breakfast was delightful, with plenty of options available, including gluten-free toast. We will definitely return; we absolutely loved it!

The lounge area is beautiful, offering fresh food made to order. While the service can be a bit slow, the overall experience makes the wait worthwhile. Their fish and chips are excellent, and the salmon and smoked squid cake topped with a fried egg and hollandaise sauce has us coming back for more. For a more formal dinner or lunch, there are two additional restaurants—the main hotel dining option and "Neo," located next to the hotel. However, my wife and I prefer the open walk-in lounge and its à la carte menu. It's also worth mentioning their afternoon offerings; their scones are made from scratch and are exceptionally good.

I just came home from a weekend in the hermitage. we were there for a do. the staff could not have done enough for them, and very friendly. our room was a large room that was beautiful. eating was great, like the wine list.

We had a wonderful stay Ideally placed by the beach with no hills to climb The rooms where compact but plenty of room. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the public areas very comfortable. We had breakfast and bar meals, very good value and very nice . A good choice for breakfast . We loved the ducks in the room . We will certainly be back

We anticipated that our weekend at the Hermitage would be good, in effect it was brilliant. It's position, quality room and food along with the most professional yet welcoming and caring staff made everything so special. We were delighted by the way we were treated and made to feel special. We would recommend the Hermitage to anyone looking for a first rate hotel in Bournemouth.
