This is a great pub located right by the sea. We stopped here because they advertised a hidden rooftop garden, which is actually an enclosed area open to the elements from the upper bar near neighboring buildings. It could be a great spot to catch some sun. The prices for beer are really reasonable, especially compared to other places near the pier. Just £1.99 for a craft beer is amazing! While you can't see the beach from the pub, there is a green area right in front of it. We decided to eat here and found out that they had a special on mixed grills - small for £4.99 and large for £6.99, which is an absolute steal. Although some of the meat may have been kept warm, my steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. We really enjoyed our meal and thought the price-performance ratio was excellent. If you're a serious carnivore, this place is definitely worth a try.

I had to return my steak because it was not cooked to my liking. Without hesitation, Alex brought me a new one that was perfectly cooked and delicious! I was totally impressed. Compliments to the chef.

Just as good as Wetherspoons. The staff is incredibly lovely, with one worker even going out of her way to seat us near a power outlet so we could charge our phones as we were visiting Bournemouth with low battery. The food was typical of a Wetherspoons, but that doesn't mean it was not good! We had breakfast here and out of all the Wetherspoons I have been to, this was the best meal I had. Thank you to the staff at The Moon on the Square!

I ate that beyond burger in a menu with an alcoholic drink and pommes for about £10. I always love to go to the moon on the place, as it is very central, cheap and good quality for the price they pay. Obviously wetherspoons restaurants and pubs are not comparing with a posh restaurant, but it is the best place to go for a cheap and fun evening. the restaurant is usually quite clean as the toilets. they can see families, students and pensioners who regularly visit the restaurant and the guests are always in a good mood. do not expect it to be quiet there

Christmas Eve daytime was packed, I wouldn't expect anything less but had to sit outside. no one was wearing masks ,only staff, so a little worried ,was kind of glad I was outside. atmosphere always good here and staff always friendly no matter how busy they are.
