Long post: Well yesterday 6/16/24, I ordered the Capt Matt's combo, I substituted the oysters for shrimp...which they didn't do. This is the 2nd time that has happened, the first time I let it go, this time...I'm going to call the manager, just to let them know to try to be careful next time, I'm paying about $35-40.00 for a plate, can it at least be correct. So, I called in 6/17/24 at 12:50 est , and this is how the conversation goes with the phone call Customer Me : Hello can I speak to the manager? Crab Galley Was sup? Customer Me , Was sup? I rpt it to him, cause I'm not his friend I pause , I'm making sure this is a business call. Well, can I speak to the manager? busy Crab Galley he's busy right now, what u need? Customer me , it's ok..I will call back later, then he hangs up the phone. The disrespect of how business's operates in the black community is terrible, horrible customer service..etc. It's just a lesson learned.....ppls don't respect the black dollar.
Got the med male crabs, steamed ship and whiting fish platter w/hushpuppies and coleslaw from Crab Galley. They didn’t disappoint at all.
Small fish market with a great variety (at least 7 different types of fish; as well as crab legs and shrimp). The woman who attended to me was sweet and the younger gentleman helping someone else had a very gentle disposition. I was tempted to strike up a conversation about whether this was a longer swing family place. I will certainly return.
Food is always on point. Black guy keeps pressing you for tips, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Love when the mom or daughter is working the counter.
