Saladworks - Bowling Green

Most restaurants would be locked in with 15 minutes to go, really appreciate the two young ladies who served me. Not many healthy options around and that really meets the place. I would not ignore the negative comments, the workers are short employees, the minimum wage, during a pandemic. Food service is a hard gig, they pay more when you expect them to be cartwheels when you go.

Very clean and bright little space. Everything seemed so crisp and fresh. You have a menu with standard salads, or you can design yourself from scratch. You even have individual portions of real butter for the reels if you feel more decadent.

I love this place. Simple and simple. All they have is fresh and fast. You can think it's a little expensive, but I personally think it's favorable for the amount of food you get (seeds are huge), the freshness of all ingredients, and the speed/ convenience of everything. You also offer a WKU Student Discount! I always build my own salad and I swear they have every ingredient you might think to add on your salad! I plan for me and my friend to go here soon!!

Very friendly place; no hesitation to try a sauce before I have committed. I think it was a sweet sesame. I didn't think I would like it, but the name sounded cool. The sauce was quite layered and sturdy, so it took a second for me to take even all the flavors, but it turned out to be perfect. Not too sweet or tangie and a perfect addition to my salad. The ingredients were very fresh and the price was perfectly reasonable. But the second visit, my salad was just drowned so I couldn't enjoy much of it.

My wife's favorite place, and even as a carnivore, I find it entirely tolerable. Yeah, its pricey, but not outrageous; you get what you pay for. Selection is good, and the soups are heavenly. Service is spotty, but everyone is struggling to get employees during Covid, and they have always been courteous, but a little harried. Worth a try at least.
