Gogo Gumbo! - Boyd

Good food, friendly service. This is a good place to dine, if you don’t mind waiting to be seated. Usually busy nightly when open. For our county, this is a nice place to eat.

10/10 I can only describe my experience at gogo gumbo in Pitbull 's (the rapper) words, I came, I saw, I conquered or should I say, I saw, I conquered, I came! 5 desserts, 2 meals, and a metric hell-ton of sweet tea later, I feel personally blessed by the fancy place in Boyd. Would certainly kick my boots up here again!

What a spot! Whoda thought little town of Boyd would have such a fun vibe restaurant. I ordered the red fish, shrimp and roting pasta. Was delicious. Other part of my group had the shrimp gumbo, it was just allright..... and other person had the shrimp boil. It was just ok too. Tried everyone's dishes. Dessert was the biggest let down. The meringue, strawberry and ice cream. The meringue was complete overkill. It was huge, sweet, crunch weird, didn't care for your at all. We even came home and talked about the bad choice for dessert. But that's OK, well come back soon. Decibel know you have to get there early and have a complete party to be seated. Good job go go gumbo!

Popcorn shrimp and slaw were tasteless. Shrimp and hushpuppies were tough.

Love this little spot. I forgot it was BYOB, so a reminder on that part!
