Feedback gevenFood was horrible , do not advertise this as a mexican restaurant . I Do not recomend this place atleast for latinos because the food was not tasty and was very salty. Not even the cooks were mexican. Looked inside the kitchen and it looked like Haitian people. Disapointed in this place because their menu looked good and had to drive 30 mnts to get there. The atmosphere was warm and colorful. The food though, is salty. After 10 minutes of no acknowledgement we started looking on our phones for other places to eat at. No big deal. I noticed the host walk to the back and brought out a new waitress who treated us like we were a total inconvenience to her life from start to finish. As a former waitress, I am as easygoing as can be at restaurants and still tipped over 20%, but her attitude was completely uncalled for. We will not be returning as it’s uncomfortable to be placed with a rude server.
Our server was Austin. He is the whole reason why I wanted to write a review. This man needs to get a raise, employee of the month, and something else. He provided the best service I have seen in a while. He made us feel welcomed and not a bother when we asked for things. He was informative when we asked him questions about things. Thank you for being such an inviting warm and welcoming restaurant to eat. I will add that the food was amazing too. Great flavor! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Red Mesa Grill!
Food is terrible. Nothing is good. Still tortilla chips are too old. First and last time in this restaurant. Very disappointed Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
We have been to Red Mesa before and it was fine. Our experience yesterday was not. We went with another couple and they were obviously busy. There was an older woman as the hostess that told us it would be 40 minutes but it could be much quicker so we gave her our cell number. We went a couple doors away to get a drink while we waited as there was not space in Red Mesa. I got a text before we ordered our drinks saying follow a link and the link said there was one person ahead of us and the wait was 5 minutes. We went back the the hostess and said it was still a 40 minute wait. I told her we got a text and the app said 5 minutes. She said I was wrong and it was 40 minutes. I showed her the app on my phone and she said it was wrong and I needed to sit down. I politely said it is there app, I didn't make it up. She was very rude at that point and never apologizing for the fact that there app was incorrect. We would not have come back if it had been 40 minutes. I told her to take us off the list we will be leaving and she said that would be good. She was extremely rude and never apologized for the discrepancy with the application and reality. I was professionally courteous throughout the entire conversation but she was not. We went down the street to Cafe Sante and had excellent service and a great meal. They are both owned by the same company, they must have done a better job training their staff for customer service.
