The food was served family-style and was abundant, at the perfect temperature, really delicious, and offered a beautiful variety of both classic and unique dishes to suit all tastes. Tip: make a reservation for an early time (around 4 PM) so you can enjoy the ambiance during daylight, sunset, and into the evening. It’s truly magical—highly recommended!
The shed was very quiet when we arrived at 4:30 PM, and it got pretty chilly by the time we left at 6:30 PM. We were glad to go back inside to warm up. They provided blankets, but it might be a good idea to dress warmly, like wearing a sweater, thick socks, and boots. The service was excellent! The shed was charming, although a bit quiet and somewhat awkward at first. We loved the food and the fun drinks! I would definitely recommend it to a friend, but they should dress warmer than we did!
This was our first time experiencing the snow shed, so we didn't know what to expect. It would have been helpful if the waiter had explained what the “experience” entailed, and it would have been nice to know the cost per person in advance. We also brought our two children under 12, and we were charged the full price for them as well. Altogether, our party of seven cost us $700, so be prepared for that.
The Furikake fires were great, everything else was somewhat overrated and overpriced for what it was.
The host left a lot to be desired and there was no toilet paper in the ladies room. We were also seated at a table next to an open door to the outside in -4 temperature. Once we got our actual sever, the service was good and the food was excellent.
