Round the corner was the dining room. We were early and it was empty. We decided to give it a go as no where else in Bracca was open. We had the set meal which was all home made and delicious. By the time we had got half way through the meal the room was filling up and had a lovely buzz. The food was not expensive €13 for two courses. A la Carte was very reasonable too. Very helpful staff highly recommended.
On the advice of friends, we went to this classic Bergamo trattoria. the dinner was really good, the cottages made in the big house.
There are those places that you can see from the outside, not that you would be amazed at how much credibility. I think he's one of these. typical of the 70s, which does a little bit of everything: restaurant, pizzeria, bar, newsstand. you immediately understand that management is familiar. but this is probably the real secret. the dishes present in the menu are mostly dishes of the Bergamo tradition even if there are some “marine” floods. we have, however, bet on the safe, against the heat of this August, we ate randomly (difficultly tasted so well,) taragna polenta and a little meat: braised, capricious, veal with porcini mushrooms and rabbit. I do not eat meat and above all I do not eat meat “wild”. Also on braised are often skeptical because too many insaporitori, too many spices and meat not always until you have unpleasant returns to digestive level. Well, as an aldo, I ate practically everything doing the bis, and no problem in the afternoon. the service is part of the family management speech. is not the star michelin but is friendly and for those “simple” that service that makes you feel “at home”. prices that I challenge anyone to find in all bergamo and in most province. Not honest. much more. What do you mean? Are you looking for a tractor who might be worthy to bring that name? It's your house.
