Craved for a Vietnamese street food brekkie and remember this cafe was under the management of a group of Vietnamese so it serves Banh mi and rice paper roll so gave it a go.I ordered a Merlo flat white and a pork rice paper rolls. Although the owner mixed up my order as pork roll, they changed and freshly prepared the rice paper roll for me. The rolls came in two pieces with extra-long length than usual. Proportion of vermicelli, herb, lettuce and pork are well balanced. Together with the home-made sauce, it won my deep appreciationPrevious rating: April 2019 4/5
It's a really suburban cafe. Coffee was good, and the ham, pineapple and cheese jaffle is super yummy! Won't drive all the way there to have breakfast. But if you are a local, it's a good spot
Featuring nice, hearty breakfasts with decent coffee, Butter Cream has quickly become a staple in this suburban bank of shops. It was a bit of a shame to see they've cut their lunch menu and have restricted their trading hours, but I suppose if the demand is not there, these sorts of refinements are to be expected. All in all, good for a homely brekky feed that won't hit the hip pocket too hard.
Our comfort place : Relaxed 50's atmosphere where the staff are personable and take the time to get to know the locals. Coffee is consistently great the music takes us down memory lane from time to time :
