Maybe the opening of chatterbox, I was misled that this cafe was under new management and finally confirmed by the friendly owner that they have been trading here over seven years. Ordered my flat white and tried one of their daily special of Ham, cheese pineapple fingers. Remembered that toasted fingers used to be my a-must order 30 years ago but there are more options nowadays. Both the food beverage were above average. Coffee well presented with right strength. The toasted fingers really recalled my memory. Love to have a quiet and peaceful brekkie this morning. Thanks for Caffe Impero!
Maleny milk, Black Eagles VA388 coffee machine with latest Greviteac technology and Mythos 1 grinder, Veneziano Bond street. WOW.Shopping centre cafe in its best. Breakfast is great and I can pay with my card.
Caffe Impero Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. It may be located inside your typical, somewhat bland shopping centre in suburbia, this coffee shop provides some of the best, the most strong coffee within a reasonable radius of distance. The staff here must be doing something right, as it is had quite a turnout when my dining buddy and I decided to give it a go. Because he had recently discovered the Veneziano blend, the dining buddy had become quite fond of it as a coffee. <br/ <br/ Often seeking out the coffees around the local area, this one was untapped thus with an errand done in proximity I shouted this place for some coffee. It has a good look to it that has some appearances of low key. It is more child friendly than the competition it has on the other side of the mall with activities to occupy the little ones and has a cash only policy. <br/ <br/ What also makes this place more appealing is there is simplicity to it, with the image of cafe style service. Go in line, make your order then you get a table number. They are friendly and hard working which adds even more to the place.<br/ <br/ Firstly, it was an order for a couple of double shot cappuccinos. Of course, as coffee tastes objectively better from the porcelain cup we decided to have it there; secondly, in having it there something about only a cup of coffee feels, for lack of a better term, insubstantial. Thus, a couple of sweets were ordered on the side. A slice of apple pie and chocolate cake were selected from the cabinet. <br/ <br/ The coffee here, as it was said before, is probably the best in a reasonable radius. To put it into a bit of better perspective, taking that aspect out the coffee here is still pretty remarkable in the very dominant market of coffee houses and cafes. The coffee served here has a great level of strength and a good, deep flavour. Its smooth texture also helps, with perfectly textured milk that creates a wonderful, lithe solution. <br/ <br/ To go with a great coffee should be a good sweet, and it was as such here. Both the pie and the cake were delicious. The apple pie was filled generously with well, the namesake fruit coloured by a garnishing of raspberry (which made me initially think it was cherry pie), and a buttery crust. The cake was practically like eating mousse, delicious and dark chocolate mousse. These sweets were good quality and are worth trying out if staying for a bit. <br/ <br/ Upon deciding a second round sounded good, a couple of piccolos were ordered. These second tries proved that the coffee here is good. It was still strong and went down the throat in a lithe manner. This proves again, sometimes the best coffee comes from where you don't expect it to or the average quality of coffee is simply getting better and some places see no excuses to not deliver. When in the area, this is worth stopping off at if you have the time on hand. There is plenty of options for drinks on the menu is coffee is not your preference.
Had an eggs benedict with duck here the other day and was absolutely fantastic! The duck was just fabulous and the coffee was also very good. I ordered a latte and the male barista had drawn a beautiful swan on top. The price was mid range but overall very, very worth it! Should definitely try their foods and coffee! Side note: I didn’t get to try the dessert but they were also very beautiful. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN SOON!!!
I ordered with the gentleman and got served by the lady. I politely asked at what time they closed as it was 5.20 pm and he said 5.30 pm so he said it will be in Take Away I said of course that’s fine I understand. I was missing a smile from the man and a please or a thank you though. The lady delivered a nice take away coffee and a nice lemon curd tart. I really appreciated the non plastic spoon and non plastic container as I received wood product. So for that, I will come back.
