Great range of beer and typical pub favourites on the menu. Be warned, you may need to hit the gym after a session here. Can recommend the burgers and parmigiana. Wife can shop, husband can watch sport perfect!
Was the food amazing? NoHowever It was exactly as I would expect from a sports bar and my rating is definitely based on these expectations. I’ve always thought these style of venues, similar to themed restaurants, never get the package right. Sporting Globe are close with the atmosphere and bar and facilities offered however I’d like to see a few more inventive and fresh food offerings. Think your typical pub offerings with burgers, parmas etc. We snacked on a few different items and all were good without being spectacular. I love my sport though and will definitely back.
Huge servings and perfect for when you feel like a bit of everything. Delicious onion rings crispy and plenty of onion! Everything was great. I ordered a steak once though for medium rare and it came out rare so I asked them to cook it a bit more and it came out rare still. So in total I asked them twice to cook it and finally it came out but done well
This is my first review and I joined Zomato specifically to review the sporting globe. This is by far my family's favourite place to eat out, we are regular patrons and have been eating here regularly since they opened.Their food is delicious! I usually get the buffalo wings to share and the grand slam burger, these meals never disappoint! (We have also tried their ribs and they are phenomenal)I have a sweet tooth and LOVE the boozy shakes! I haven't yet tried the desserts as we are usually too full by the end of our meal but I have seen them come out and they look delicious.Staff and managers are always friendly and the food comes out promptlyI would highly recommend this sports bar to anyone wanting a high quality experience.
Stumbled across here with my friend on Saturday and I was impressed by the layout and the atmosphere. It reminded me of buffalo wild wings in the USA and that made me super happy to be transported back to my time in the States earlier in the year.<br/ <br/ I loved all the TVs showing sport and the bar area with booths. They told me there is a restaurant section upstairs too. A setting for every occasion!<br/ <br/ Then I about fell over when I looked at the menu. The wings section looks like a ripoff of the buffalo wild wings menu. Not a bad thing if you can give me tasty wings. A lot of different flavours to choose from.<br/ <br/ They also sold buckets of Bud for $20 (I dont like Bud but it was cool to have Bud with wings! . Super like from me for this ****. The beer selection looked pretty decent too. Pretty sure I saw a few good american selections (or maybe I didn't... Pretty sure I saw at least a Sierra Nevada in the fridge <br/ <br/ So we ordered one set of traditional wings and one plate of boneless chicken (which were just chicken bites . Next time I am sticking with traditional wings; the bites were too small. But the flavours were on point and the chicken was nicely cooked. The wings broke apart easy and the meat was just right.<br/ <br/ Decent wings, great beer selection from what I could see, great layout! I am lucky there isn't one in Sydney otherwise I could go broke! Beware of my rating however as there was a slight wait on the food and I was/am only interested in the wings!<br/ <br/ <br/ Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion!<br/ <br/ My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere
