However, I ended up waiting for a long time and witnessed a heated argument between the owner and a male worker in the kitchen. The worker later informed me that he had forgotten to tell the owner/cook about the prawns and chicken for the ramen. As a customer, I was appalled by the owner's behavior towards his staff. The owner should have addressed the mistake with the employee privately instead of causing a scene in front of customers. When the owner finally spoke to me, he called the worker a "stupid boy" who had made continuous mistakes that day. I was already very frustrated after waiting for so long and asked the owner for compensation for the awful experience, but he refused. It was clear that the owner was too focused on his anger towards the employee to care about customer satisfaction. The ramen I eventually received turned out to be a bowl of Maggi 2-minute noodles without any broth, as the noodles had absorbed it all. As someone who has traveled extensively and written about food, I know the difference between good ramen and a disappointing meal. This experience was not only terrible in terms of customer service, but the food was also subpar. I hope this review helps others avoid wasting their money on a similar experience. The two young ladies at the Sushi train were very apologetic and acknowledged the owner's unprofessional behavior.
The staff is friendly, the sushi is delicious, and there are always affordable and fresh options available. It's my favorite spot for a tasty and healthy lunch.

I put an order in, over the phone, for a bowl of Ramen with Prawn and Chicken. I was advised it would be minutes. I turned up and paid the Then, I waited and waited and waited. Then, a major argument broke out...in the kitchen, which was in full view between the owner and the male staff member! I was mortified. The Male staff member came out and explained to me that he had forgotten to advise the owner/chef of the prawn and chicken inclusion to the ramen. As a customer I totally disapprove of an owner berating their staff in front of customers. Whilst he may feel that the staff member made a mistake, he needs to take the staff member aside and address it later. The owner/chef then came out to see me and told me he was very sorry that he had a ‘stupid boy’ who has been “continuously making mistakes today!” By this stage I had been waiting for absolutely ages and I asked the owner what sort of compensation would be provided to me for this terrible experience and he said he wouldn’t provide anything. He was extremely angry and stirred up due to his staff member and couldn’t focus on making the customer happy. This owner has absolutely no idea about customer service, how to treat staff or how to provide a good customer experience! Oh, and when I got home I found that the Ramen was a bowl of Maggi minute noodles with no broth, any broth at all had been absorbed by the mushy two minute noodles! After I retired from flying with Qantas after years I became a Food Travel Writer, so I know when I get a good Ramen and when I get a bowl of two minute noodles! This was not only a terrible customer experience but the food was absolutely disgusting! I just hope that by posting this it saves someone else from outlaying money for an awful meal and an awful customer experience! The two young ladies that were in the sushi train area spoke to me and couldn’t be any more apologetic. They were actually really wonderful and they did apologise for the owners lack of professionalism.
Friendly staff, delicious sushi, reasonably price and fresh options always available. Favourite spot for yummy lunches, healthy and tasty.
