Oaktree Potting Shed Cafe

I really enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate at this cafe, along with the delicious selection of cakes. They even offer a variety of gluten-free options. We will definitely return in the future.

Love the gluten free selection, had such nice cakes and hot chocolates. Plus it’s great that dogs are allowed. Staff were friendly and welcoming, this place is a treasure!

The food was delicious, but it took a long time to be served. The cafe was very crowded with too many dogs. It's a shame because the plants there are great. The toilets are in a separate building, which is not ideal in cold weather. I won't be in a hurry to return.

Great food, great service. Not sure I can agree with the other reviews regarding the price! No it’s not as cheap as a grubby cafe or the Morrisons cafe but the value for money is 100% there. Lovely coffee, lovely breakfast order with some extra sides. Quick service with smiling and happy staff. 100000% will be back. After the amazing breakfast we were gutted that we could squeeze in a cake as they looked to die for! Spoke to the lovely manager who advise us we can take it home!! Yay! Would highly recommend

I have been going to this cafe since it was a tiny little cafe in the corner of the garden centre and always loved it. However…. After visiting today I think this will be my last visit. I took my mum for a light lunch of leak and potato soup with bread and a coffee each. The soup was delicious as was the coffee. When I got home, I was thinking about what I had actually paid for our lunch and was so shocked!!!! I consider £22.40 for two soups and tw coffees, rather pricey to say the least!!! I think “The Potting Shed” are confusing themselves with ”The Ritz” I am quite honestly disgusted with what I paid and will most definitely not be doing it again. So make sure you go armed with a bank loan when visiting!!!
