Husky Gas - Bradford

I stop by for breakfast and lunch. The food is fresh and delicious. One can stop off for snacks, lunch or dinner and also get your car refuelled too.

We've eaten here numerous times, breakfast, lunch, and dinners. On this visit we had breakfast, 2 of eggs, bacon, and home fries and one hot cereal with toast. My mom gasped at the ginormous bowl of hot cereal that was served with brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Catherine our server was such a sweet person. (Sorry no photos on this review as we dove into our food!)

Stopped to get diesel and dinner while pulling our camping trailer. Restaurant food and staff wonderful, kid friendly (kids meals a huge!) and reasonable prices. The bathrooms are upstairs (not accessible) and definitely not the clean or fresh smelling of restrooms.

Open beef sandwich, tender meat served piping hot. Real food, and plenty of it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the liver. Went in hungry, came out full.

The Husky House at 400 and 88 has gone way downhill from a respectable truck stop diner that it should be. Though the service is friendly and they were efficient, but poor food is poor food. The spaghetti and meat sauce had meat that had to be defrosted. It was chewy and unappetizing. I could not believe how poorly and cheaply spaghetti could be done until this trip at the Husky House. The washrooms were extremely dingy and the general feel of the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. Cheap fare does not have to terrible fare. I would recommend going elsewhere than the Husky House, head into the town of Bradford proper to enjoy a decent meal.
