What a joy! I really have to praise the owner and the staff in steeton hall. they have gone beyond our expectations in every respect. we had a slight problem for which katie, the manager, made good and true changes. my sister, my mother and I had the most in the afternoon and it was absolutely beautiful. the food and the service were perfect. I would recommend a visit. thank you again

We had our wedding reception here and I cannot recommend it more. The staff are all so friendly and could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I was so nervous and everything was 100% perfect. Beautiful location and lovely rooms, food...excellent with generous portions

Lovely afternoon tea at Steeton Hall. Sat in the conservatory which was lovely as it was a sunny day, nicely furnished. Choice of sandwiches, lovely savoury treats (particularly enjoyed deep fried wedge of Brie) A super selection of desserts, fruit scone with jam and cream,...cream filled profiterole, Bakewell tart, all delicious. This is very good value compared to other afternoon teas I have tried, portions good and nicely presented. All staff were courteous and efficient. Can highly recommend

Celebrating a family wedding. Booking online via the website very straightforward. As we were travelling 4 hours I’d rang to see if we could book early checkin as mentioned on the website. I spoke to a very pleasant member of staff who said she would...get someone to call me back, never received the call. Luckily when we arrived earlier than the 3pm check in our rooms were ready so no delay in booking in. I would mention that all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. One of our party has mobility issues and although he managed to go up the stairs in his own time I cannot recommend for disabled/mobility impaired guests. Pleasant rooms, we were in room 2. Nice tea tray and toiletries. Was hot but the window could open and the radiator turned off. The main Jewel in the Crown for this hotel is it’s staff and I hope the owners realise how lucky they are! All are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. They are to be congratulated!!

I had the absolute pleasure of being married at Steeton Hall hotel. I have booked evening meals, lunches, socialised with friends and watched sporting events on many occasions in the past here. They have great owners and staff that never fail to make me feel...welcome. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff and a lovely dose of light humour. I do not usually write reviews, however, I feel it is about time!!!... Brilliant lunch, thanks again, see you soon. Neil.
