The Buffet Car Cafe - Bradford

I revisited Haworth two years after my last visit for the Steam Gala at the railway. Our first stop was the cafe to grab some cakes and other treats for the day. I'm happy to report that it is still just as fantastic as before, with very reasonable prices! The cafe is small and can get crowded, so service may be slow. Make sure to give yourself enough time to grab everything you need before catching the train.

This charming restaurant is located just opposite Haworth station. We decided to stop here because our B&B didn't serve hot breakfasts, and we were glad we did. We enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast with added spam, made with high-quality locally sourced ingredients. The black pudding and sausage were particularly tasty, and the plum tomatoes were a nice touch. The bacon was a bit more cooked than we would have preferred, but everything else was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the toast and excellent coffee. The menu offers a good variety of breakfast items, served all day. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy, and we highly recommend this place.

We visited this restaurant across from Haworth station while waiting for our train back to Oxenhope. The staff was very friendly and they served delicious homemade cakes. We especially enjoyed the superb homemade toasted tea cake. Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable.

I visit this cafe often so I thought it was about time I wrote a review. The food is awesome especially the hunters chicken/halloumi sandwich. Caters for all tastes.. Vegan, Vegetarian, Meat eaters.. Most ingredients are locally sourced avoiding wholesalers which means prices are fair but a little more than other wholesale based cafes but in my opinion totally worth it for the taste! Responsible packaging and great service! If your visiting Haworth or you live local it a must visit!

Across the road from Haworth Station, this is just the place for breakfast before going on the train, or to buy cakes to eat on it! We were later arriving than intended, so didn't have time for a bacon butty, but did get stocked up with cakes ginger (rich, gooey and very gingery lemon drizzle (light and lemony and flapjacks (very tasty with lots of fruit, and definitely kept us going! Prices are very reasonable too. This is a real find and well worth a visit.
