The Cellar Trust Cafe - Bradford

I have been to this cafe several times for lunch with friends. This time, I took my husband for the Valentine's afternoon tea, which was his first visit. The afternoon tea was excellent, with a delicious selection of savories and cakes, as well as tea and prosecco. The presentation of the food and table decorations was fantastic. Maureen and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and ensured that we had a lovely time. Thank you so much! I will definitely be returning for lunch soon. The regular lunch menu is also very good and reasonably priced. It's also great to know that a worthy charity benefits from this charming little cafe.

After never visiting this café before, we decided to try their special Valentine's afternoon tea and it was absolutely delightful. The savory selection included quiche, sausage rolls, and a variety of sandwiches. The sweet treats were also amazing, featuring scones, Victoria sponge, chocolate fudge cake, lemon posset, and plenty of tea. The service was top-notch, professional, efficient, and very friendly. Maureen, Andrea, and all the volunteers put in a lot of effort to make it a wonderful experience. Our favorites were the quiche and Victoria sponge, but honestly, everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to everyone.

For a special Valentine's Day treat, we decided to try out the afternoon tea at the Cellar Trust cafe, and it was truly delightful. Despite being a charitable organization, the quality of the food was on par with Betty's tea house but at a significantly lower price. While the facilities may be basic as it is a community center, everything was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was top-notch. Personally, I loved the savory options, especially the quiche and sausage rolls which were outstanding. My friends usually prefer cakes and scones, but everyone enjoyed the food and the portion sizes were generous. We appreciated that everything was homemade and fresh. We couldn't finish all the food, but the staff kindly packed up the leftovers for us to take home. It was our first time at the cafe, but the welcoming and friendly staff have convinced us to come back for sure.

Very fresh food. Daily specials. Coffee is good and the cakes are to die for! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Sometimes service can be a little slow at times but definitely worth the wait x
