Feedback gevenAbsolutely horrendous service. Rude old man in charge thinking he’s doing everyone a favour. Disrespected various people in the restaurant… Customers left arguing with this person in charge. Just done Les a Les 2022 and never seen such bad service anywhere in the world and I have global experiences. Shocking service and will never repeat and that is more than 20 of us in one evening.
This is a fantastic place to eat. I liked so much the internal design and I liked also the food. I 've eaten grilled lulas, that are squid, and one of the best sobremesa (desserts) that I have ever eaten, a pudding with chestnuts with Porto 's ice cream. We have also drunk a fantastic wine and we spent 35 euro each one. I liked it so much! A little advice for this restaurant, I think that if you change the signs (with one in wood I propose) and if you delete turistic from your signs, it is a better advertising for you!
While on a Blue Strada Motorcycle Tour, we stayed one nite in Braganca. The restaurant surprised us with such a fabulous 5 course dinner that was beautiful and so tasty. My colleague and tour guide, Tiago Lopes knew this place well, and that's how we ended up there. Very unsuspecting from the outside. Combined with our stay at Pousada Hotel.. Fabulous City! The food Service at Geadas was most memorable in 9 days out.
Run in the family for over 30 years, the same team who managed a Michelin star at the Pousada Restaurant a little up the road, has been running Geadas for many succesful years. The menu is extensive, but the recomendation of fresh produce was essential to enjoy fresh and tasteful starters and fish. We also asked for recommended local wine adn were treated to low priced excellent drops. When in the area, make sure that you pop in!
Excellent service, helpful guidance in pairing good wine with fantastic local food. Nice atmosphere and good view.
