Polk-a-dot Drive In - Braidwood

We had amazing time in this little old school restaurant on Route 66. The decor was a total theme of '50s by 70s film Star Diner. You have a great jukebox full of Elvis, Buddy Holly and all old classics. The children had a great time to make pictures with the statues. I want you to keep in mind, but if you order the cheese rolls; ready for a serious joy!!!

Large Historical Route 66 Old School Drive-in Diner Experience for the whole family! These are the kind of restaurants that bring back a nostalgic trip down memory lane. From the classic of hanging entrance roof outside to shiny chrome inside, this street side Americana is best. Very cool statues outside Elvis, the Blues Brothers, Superman, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Betty Boop. 35 years old historic place to stop restaurant. Please see the hours! It is very well maintained and inmates are brilliant!!

Wonderful traditional driving in! Loved the delicious food, very nice and helpful staff and the jukeboxes.

We are traveling Route 66 and found this cute diner. The inside is 50s. They have 25 cent music boxes at each table. Pictures of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, blues brothers and Lucy Ricky. Very entertaining! They serve Burgers, Hot Dogs, Milk shakes, Fries...etc.
