The Onley - Braintree

We recently celebrated my Mum’s 85th birthday at the Onley Arms, 35 people of all ages and dietary preferences. The staff did an excellent job of looking after us, friendly and welcoming at the same time very professional. We had the run of the place, beer garden very useful space for kids to move around. I would not hesitate to recommend the Onley.

What a lovely place to stay, although we only stayed one night for the Clockstock festival. We stayed in the Hayloft, the apartment was beautiful, very clean and comfortable too. Lovely bar and outside seating area where we sat in the sun and had the best breakfast we have had in years. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Great staff attention. Room well lite nd airy. One of the best starters we have had for many a year (pork belly bar buns). Would recommend to anyone.

Wow what a beautiful place, so glad we stopped in for a quick drink. Ended up having a quick bite to eat as the menu and food looked fab, we opted for the seafood platter to share which was fresh and delicious and a very good price of only £22.00. We will definitely be returning. Staff were very friendly and helpful too 10/10 would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We had a long walk around Stisted and Pattiswick then had lunch in the Onley arms . Such great service. My dog was given water and treats and I Purchased a sausage for him . Our food was lovely too . This establishment needs to be supported .. it’s a lovely place .
